Chapter 3 Admissions Work Organizational Structure

Article 13 Under the leadership of the college’s party committee, the college has established an admissions work leading group, consisting of the secretary, dean, disciplinary inspection secretary, and the director in charge of admissions work. It is composed of vice presidents and heads of relevant departments. The secretary of the party committee and the president serve as the team leader. They are fully responsible for the college’s admissions work and the coordination and handling of relevant issues in the school’s admissions work. Chapter 4 Principles of Enrollment Plan Allocation and Admission Rules

Article 16 In accordance with the "Regulations on Enrollment of General Colleges and Universities" promulgated by the Ministry of Education and the requirements of relevant provinces (municipalities) for college admissions and admissions, vigorously promote the "Sunshine Project" and implement high-quality recruitment information. The enrollment plan for admission to higher education strictly follows the enrollment plan issued by the Provincial Department of Education, and adheres to the principles of comprehensive moral, intellectual, and physical assessment, merit-based admissions, and fairness, justice, openness, and transparency.

Article 19: Admission to majors: The number of students admitted is based on test scores, major aspirations, and major plans, from high scores to low scores. Those who cannot satisfy their first major preference will be admitted according to their second major preference, and those who still cannot satisfy their first major preference will be admitted according to their third major preference, and so on. Under the same conditions, priority will be given to those with talent in art and physical education.

Article 20: Tourism management, catering management and service majors require students with good facial features and no disabilities; in principle, only male students are admitted to the coal mining technology major; other majors do not have requirements.

Article 21 Foreign language requirements: Only English language candidates will be admitted.

Article 22: Candidates who vote for extra points or subtracted points shall be subject to relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education and the place of origin of the students.

Chapter 5 Admission and Enrollment

Article 23 The admission results will be announced to the public in a manner determined by the local admissions office, and can also be found on the campus website of Jinzhong Vocational and Technical College (www .jzzy.sx.cn) query.

Article 24: Admitted candidates must report to the college on the date specified by the college. Candidates who fail to register after the deadline without the consent of the college will be deemed to have given up their admission qualifications.

Article 25 After the new students enter the school, the college will conduct the freshmen’s admission qualification review and entrance physical examination in accordance with relevant regulations. Students who fail the freshmen’s admission qualification review, fail the physical examination, or do not truthfully fill in their past medical history , cancel the admission qualification.

Chapter 6 Major Settings and Fee Standards

Article 26: The majors set up shall be reviewed and approved by the Vocational Education Division of the Shanxi Provincial Department of Education and filed with the Ministry of Education. For details of our school’s enrollment source plan, please refer to the enrollment plans announced by each province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government). The charging standards for tuition and accommodation fees strictly follow the charging standards approved by the Shanxi Provincial Price Bureau.

Chapter 7 Scholarships

Article 27 Scholarship Measures: Implement policies related to national scholarships, national motivational scholarships, national grants, and national student loans; A certain percentage of the income is allocated to support students from poor families. Through the Overseas Chinese Federation, the Hong Kong Chinese Innovation Association has funded the establishment of the "Hua Ge Love Bursary" in our college, which donates 2,000 yuan per student year to 50 poor students every year; the animal husbandry and veterinary majors and cooperative enterprises establish scholarships of 10,000 yuan per year to support Poor students with excellent academic performance.
