The Indian government allowed foreign businessmen to enter the country for the first time. In the order, the Ministry of the Interior stated that foreign nationals holding valid long-term multiple-entry business visas must also re-obtain the confirmation of their travel documents from the Indian delegation.

The Ministry of the Interior said in a statement on June 3: "It has been decided to allow the following categories of foreign personnel to enter India."

1. Foreign businessmen who enter the country with business visas (except sports B-3 visas) and come to India by irregular business and charter flights.

2. Foreign medical professionals, health researchers, engineers and technicians who are invited by registered medical institutions, registered pharmaceutical companies or universities recognized by India to engage in technical work in the facilities of Indian health departments (including laboratories and factories).

3. I hope to go to India to find experts in engineering, management, design or other aspects on behalf of foreign commercial organizations located in India.

These institutions include all manufacturing departments, design departments, software and IT departments and financial sector companies (banks and non-bank financial sector companies).

4. Foreign technical experts and engineers go to India to install, repair and maintain machines and equipment at the invitation of registered Indian commercial companies.

The statement said:

"Foreign citizens in the above categories must obtain new business visas or work visas from Indian embassies abroad. In addition, foreign citizens who hold valid, long-term and multiple-entry business visas (except sports B-3 visa) issued by Indian missions abroad need to apply for visa reactivation at the Indian Embassy, otherwise they will be prohibited from entering India directly with any previously obtained electronic visa.
