Six months before the expiration of the validity period of the Hong Kong and Macao Pass and before the expiration of the endorsement, you can apply to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ at or above the county level entrusted by the State Administration of Immigration for a replacement.

Pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao has two validity periods:
