Is there a direct train from Ningbo Railway Station to Zhoushan?

There are tickets to Zhoushan at the railway station, but the bus leaves at South Station instead of the railway station. It takes 2 minutes to walk outside the North Square of the railway station, but the North Square is closed and far from the South Square.

The development of history

As early as more than 7,000 years ago, Ningbo ancestors flourished here and created a splendid Hemudu culture. In the Xia Dynasty, more than 2000 BC, Ningbo was called Yin, and in the Spring and Autumn Period it was Yue.

During the Qin Dynasty, it belonged to three counties in Huiji County, namely Yin (now Baidu Village, Xiwu Street, Fenghua District), Shan (now Tongao Village, Wuxiang Town, Yinzhou District) and Wangjiaba Village, Cicheng Town, Jiangbei District). ?

It was called Mingzhou in the Tang Dynasty. In the 26th year of Tang Kaiyuan (738), Mingzhou was established, governing four counties: Zhizhi, Cixi, Fenghua and Wengshan. In the first year of Changqing (82 1), the county moved to Sanjiangkou (now Haishu District) and built Zicheng, which laid the foundation for the city's development for more than 1000 years.

In the ninth year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (AD 589), it was said that the county ruled Xiaoxi (now Yinjiang Town, Haishu District).

In the fourth year of Tang Wude (AD 62 1), Sanjiangkou was founded. In the eighth year of Wude (AD 625), it was renamed Qixian County. In the 26th year of Kaiyuan (AD 738), Mingzhou was established, governing five counties, namely Cixi, Fenghua, Zhenhai, Dinghai and Xiangshan, and governing Yinxian, belonging to Dongdao, Zhejiang.

In the first year of Changqing (AD 82 1), the national government moved from Xiaoxi to Sanjiangkou and built Zicheng, which laid the foundation for the development of Ningbo for more than 1000 years. According to records, the earliest city wall in the center of Ningbo was built by Liu Laozhi in the fourth year of Long 'an in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 400), which is called Shinohara Wall. The former site is said to be in the area of Shinohara Wall Lane at the west gate today.
