What does double certification mean?

Double authentication refers to the use of notarial certificate to authenticate the embassy (consulate) of the country after the consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China or the foreign affairs offices of relevant provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities have completed the authentication procedures. This practice of handling two authentications is often called double authentication.
