In the case of overdraft on a domestic credit card, it will not affect your ability to go abroad as long as there is no bad record.

Materials required for passport application:

1. Application form

Submit a completed "Chinese Citizen Ordinary Passport Application Form".

Note: The application form can be downloaded from the entry-exit website of each provincial public security department, or it can be collected and filled out on-site at the certificate application hall.

2. Photo

Submit a recent full-face color photo without hat. The photo size is generally 48mmX33mm.

Note: It is recommended to take ID photos in the on-site photo studio in the certificate processing hall to avoid the photo format not meeting the standards.

3. Proof of identity

Submit the original copy of your ID card and household registration book and submit a copy. During the period of collecting, renewing and re-issuing the resident identity card, you can submit the temporary resident identity card and household registration booklet and their copies.

4. Opinions of the unit

National staff (registration and filing personnel) shall submit a certificate of consent to leave the country issued by their work unit or superior supervisory unit in accordance with the personnel management authority. After active military personnel complete the approval procedures in accordance with their management authority, they shall apply in person to the public security entry and exit management department at or above the county level where their troops are stationed.

5. Guardian materials

Citizens under the age of 16 must be accompanied by their guardian and submit the guardian’s consent for leaving the country, the guardian’s resident ID card or household registration book, passport and copies.

6. Materials related to the reason for application

(1) Passport annotation: Submit relevant supporting materials that require changes and annotations and the valid passport you hold;
