Has Merkel overfulfilled her task of deporting immigrants?

It was reported on July 1 that during negotiations on strengthening control of immigration flows, German Chancellor Merkel received commitments from 14 countries to speed up the deportation of citizens. According to reports, Merkel informed the above-mentioned results in a letter written to the chairman of the Social Democratic Party and the Christian Social Union party and the chairman of the parliamentary group.

According to reports, a document titled "More order and organization of migration policy" lists the results of the EU Migration Summit held in Brussels from June 28 to 29. The document shows that Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France and other countries have agreed to participate in the expulsion of immigrants from Germany as soon as possible. Countries that have previously been critical of Merkel's refugee policy, such as Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic, have also agreed to the agreement.

At the same time, Germany also plans to send federal police to Bulgaria to reduce the number of refugees entering the Schengen area from there. There, the officers will be responsible for increasing patrol surveillance of the EU's external borders. Within the Schengen Area, there will no longer be border controls in the future, but many countries currently have exceptions.

It is reported that Berlin has reached an agreement with Greece and Spain to take back refugees. The governments of Athens and Madrid have both stated that they are willing to take back asylum seekers who have been registered in the Eurodac EU refugee fingerprint scanning system and are sent to the German-Austrian border by German agencies in the future. As a reciprocal condition, Merkel promised Greece and Spain to "gradually bring relevant refugees to Germany" within the framework of family reunification.
