Introduction to Yuhe

Yu, a native of Yuyao, Zhejiang, is a famous aesthetician and writer in Chinese mainland. He was awarded the title of "National Outstanding Contribution Expert" and served as a professor in several universities. In fact, it is difficult to talk about Yu's position in China's cultural circle. This China aesthetician, who is famous for "Cultural Journey" and "Notes on Mountain Residence", is praised by critics as writing prose with his left hand, which is not superficial, and it is not difficult to understand that writing artistic theory with his right hand.

Take his "cultural journey" as an example. Among them, there is only 2,500 words of "Hidden Springs in the Sand Garden", which is purely a lyric prose of mountains and rivers, but picturesque. The main content of this article is the process and feelings of the author climbing the sand mountain alone in the desert land of Dunhuang County, and then enjoying a bay of clear water down the mountain. As for Yu's works of artistic theory, they are also highly valued and respected by academic circles. For example, in 1983, he published "Historical Draft of Drama Theory", which is Chinese mainland's first historical work comprehensively expounding the cultural development and drama thoughts of all countries in the world from ancient times to the present. In the second year after publication, he won the first national prize for works on drama theory in Beijing, and the first national prize for excellent teaching materials in Beijing Ministry of Culture ten years later, while another book published the first prize for works on drama aesthetics in Chinese mainland on 1985. 10 years later, he won the first prize of the National Excellent Textbook of Beijing Ministry of Culture, and another book published Chinese mainland's first drama aesthetic work "Drama Aesthetic Psychology" on 1985, and won the Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Works Award the following year. Yu Guangzhong was born in Nanjing, 1928. My ancestral home is Yongchun, Fujian. My mother was originally from Wujin, Jiangsu, so she also called herself "Jiangnan".

1952 graduated from the Foreign Languages Department of Taiwan Province Provincial University. 1959 Master of Arts, University of Iowa (LOWA). He has taught at Soochow University, Normal University, Taiwan Province Provincial University and Taiwan Province Political University. During this period, he was invited by the State Council twice and served as a visiting professor in several American universities. 1972 Professor of Chengchi University and Head of the Department of Western Languages. 1974- 1985, head of the Chinese Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. 1985, professor and lecturer at National Sun Yat-sen University in Kaohsiung. Among them, he served as Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Dean of the School of Foreign Languages for 6 years.

Yu Guangzhong has been engaged in poetry, prose, criticism and translation all his life, calling himself a "four-dimensional space" for his writing. Today, he has been in the literary world for more than half a century, and he has been widely involved, and is known as "artistic polygamy". His literary career is long and profound, and he is a master of contemporary poetry, an important town of prose, a famous critic and an excellent translator. Yu Guangzhong's poetry creation and translation works have been published by 15 publishing houses, including Beijing People's Daily Publishing House, Guangzhou Huacheng Publishing House, Changchun Times Literature and Art Publishing House and An Wei Education Publishing House. At the same time, Mr. Yu is a senior editor, who has edited important poetry publications such as Blue Star, Satellite and Modern Literature. Yu Guangzhong enjoys a high reputation in Taiwan Province Province, overseas and mainland Chinese literary circles. He has won all important awards in Taiwan Province Province, including Wu Sanlian Literature Award, China Times Award, Jinding Award and National Literature Award. He has been to Europe and America for many times to attend and give speeches at international pen conferences and other literary conferences. Jilin University and Northeastern University awarded the title of visiting professor. CCTV Spring Festival Evening once recited and performed his famous poem "Homesickness". Selected Poems of Yu Guangzhong was included in People's Literature Publishing House and Beijing Book Catalogue. In recent years, CCTV's "Reading Time", "The Son of the East" and other topics have continuously recommended Mr. Yu Guangzhong to domestic audiences, which has a great influence.

There are about 1000 critical articles about Yu Guangzhong's works at home and abroad. His books are edited by Huang, published by Taiwan Province Pure Literature Publishing House and Jiuge Publishing House, Fire Bathing Phoenix and Brilliant Colored Pen. Sichuan Literature and Art Publishing House published five kinds of poems, including One Hundred Poems by Yu Guangzhong (Selected Interpretation of Liushahe). Biography is published by Taiwan Province Tianxia Visual Publishing Company, and Fu is the author of Biography of Yu Guangzhong, the Son of Cornus officinalis. His collection of poems, The Association of Lotus, was translated into German and published by German scholars in 197 1. Many other poems have been translated into foreign languages and published overseas.

Mr Yu Guangzhong loves China traditional culture and China. Praise "China, the most beautiful and motherly country". He said: "The upstream of the blue ink is the Miluo River", "I want to be a descendant of Qu Yuan and Li Bai" and "I have a tributary of the Yellow River in my blood system". He is an outstanding poet and essayist in China's literary world, and he is still "tug of war with eternity". The breath of today's world has entered history, and his name has been engraved in the history of China's new literature.
