1. School selection

This aspect should be analyzed according to the specific situation of each student. For example, if you study abroad in order to return to your country for employment, then you may need to consider ranking higher in the overall ranking. Some schools; if you want to immigrate or stay and work locally, the geographical location of majors, special programs, schools, and local recognition are more important.

2. Material preparation

When college students apply to study abroad in Australia, the materials they need to provide are:

Five semester transcripts in Chinese and English or 6 semester transcripts + Chinese and English enrollment certificates + letter of commitment + application form + scanned copy of passport (with information page scan) + Chinese and English grading standards + individual institutions need to provide PS, CV. (Some institutions will also require students to add 7 semester transcripts before they can review and issue an OFFER.)

Notes:

1. Regarding transcripts:

Chinese materials are the most important, and English is only a translation. So, this means that whatever is on the Chinese transcript must be translated on the English transcript. During our application process, we often encounter translation errors in transcripts. For example, transcripts translated by schools may have translation errors or missing translations. Generally, in this case, the school will have to translate it again. If the school has its own printer to print it out, it cannot be translated again.

There are 2 solutions. First: copy and translate the English transcript yourself, and then ask the school’s Academic Affairs Office to stamp it, not the college. Another option is to ask the notary office to translate it for you, and you don’t need to have the school stamp it.

2. Regarding the certificate of enrollment:

The certificate of enrollment must be printed on paper with the school’s letterhead. Many students will print it out directly. Students from some schools need to print it out themselves. Proof of enrollment in Chinese and English, and then have it stamped by the Academic Affairs Office.

3. Regarding the grading standards:

If your transcript has A, B, C, or D. If there are excellent, good, and average grades, the scoring criteria must be provided. If there are clear scoring criteria on the transcript, such as a mark such as "excellent" represents 90-100, then there will be no problem. Generally, the grading criteria will be provided on the back of the transcript. Some schools will not provide it. You can just follow our template. It must be printed on paper with the school's letterhead and stamped. If you want to get a seal, you can go to the college to get it stamped, or it can be stamped by the Academic Affairs Office, with priority given to the Academic Affairs Office.

4. Regarding documents:

Most majors in colleges and universities do not require documents, so there is no need to panic. Popular majors in individual institutions, such as the University of Melbourne Business School, etc., require documents.

5. Regarding graduation certificates and degree certificates:

Most 985.211 colleges will provide students with graduation certificates, degree certificates and other materials in both Chinese and English. So just use it directly.

3. Waiting for the results, there may be supplementary materials

Nowadays, some schools are very strict about the review of materials. For example, the University of Queensland requires GTE (genuine material description); for example, the University of Sydney is very strict. You will also be asked to add a PS and CV. This is all possible.

So it is normal to supplement materials. Just provide it as required by the school. At the end of the first semester of their senior year, students need to provide updated transcripts, that is, complete transcripts for 7 semesters in Chinese and English.

IV. Language test, school selection, visa application

1. For college students

From the time you submit the application to get the OFFER, the most important thing is The thing is to test the language. After the school receives your language scores, it will issue you a new OFFER.

In March and April of the second semester of senior year, every university in Australia will issue a new CON-COE policy. Once the policy is released, students can pay a deposit (the deposit is tuition fee) and then change to CON-COE. . You can apply for a visa after getting the CON-COE, so most students' visas will be issued before enrolling. Language classes require full tuition + postgraduate deposit. The school will then issue a language class COE + postgraduate COE. After getting 2 COEs, you can apply for a visa and enroll immediately.

2. For graduates

The most important thing for students is to take the language test. After passing the language test, they can immediately pay the deposit and occupy a seat. There are not as many graduates as college students. You can apply for language classes at any time, pay a deposit, obtain a COE, and then apply for a visa at the designated time.

After getting the visa, you can immediately buy air tickets and start looking for housing information and start renting a house. And you should pay attention to the exchange rate every day. If the exchange rate is appropriate, you can buy a large amount of foreign exchange and deposit it in the bank. 5. Supplement the complete diploma, degree certificate, and transcript
