The country where a new day comes first.

Tonga is the first country to welcome the sun.

Tonga is located in the center of the South Pacific Ocean, bordering Fiji in the west, Niue Island in the east, Samoa in the north and New Zealand across the sea in the south. Geographically, it is located between173 40' and175 20' west of international date line. Therefore, it is the first country on earth to welcome the sun.

Tonga consists of 176 islands, which are scattered over 700,000 square kilometers, with a land area of only 750 square kilometers. Most of them are coral islands in the east and volcanic islands in the west. Only 36 of them are inhabited, and these islands are divided into four islands: Tongtabu, Wawawu, Harper and Niue. Two-thirds of the country's population lives on the main island, Tongan Tabu Island, and it is also the seat of the capital, Nuku 'alofa. Tonga has a population of about 1 10000, belonging to Polynesian race, with less than 1% immigrants. After the baptism of nature and history, Tongans have formed their own unique national culture and traditional customs, which have been passed down from generation to generation.

Tonga has a tropical rainforest climate with an average annual temperature of 23 degrees Celsius. Blue sky, blue sea, white sand, reefs, coconut groves, flowers and green spaces constitute a beautiful and moving island landscape. Because Tonga stands in the middle of the ocean and its air is fresh all the year round, it is recognized as one of the "zero pollution" areas in the world, and the world vividly calls it "natural oxygen bar".
