Boycott Japanese goods, I have reasons!

Japan's exports are high value-added, and our exports are raw materials for low-profit basic necessities.

The same money is earned more and more every day.

Boycott is a double-edged sword

But the advantages of arousing national patriotism and supporting domestic brand awareness far outweigh the disadvantages.

A powerful country, all walks of life need the joint efforts of many parties.

There is no point in keeping fishing without boycotting Japanese goods.

20 12, 12 On August 5th, fishermen from Chinese mainland and Hong Kong successfully landed on the Diaoyu Islands, and the whole of China, including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, was jubilant: Hong Kong compatriots declared China's sovereignty over the Diaoyu Islands.

Landing on Diaoyu Island can declare sovereignty. This topic is debatable: China fishermen were arrested by Japanese military and police as soon as they landed on the island, and then "deported" by Japan on the grounds of "illegal entry".

As China's territory, China people were arrested by Japanese military police and deported as "illegal immigrants". Such an incident can only give people the impression that Diaoyu Island is not China's territory, but Japanese territory.

China people often land in Tokyo without a Japanese visa, and sometimes they can even live there for a long time, but they will be deported as soon as they are discovered by the Japanese Immigration Bureau. This shows that Tokyo is Japanese territory and has nothing to do with China territory. Since China people who have lived in Tokyo for a long time can't explain that Tokyo has anything to do with the territory of China, and China people were arrested immediately after landing on Diaoyu Island, how can they declare China's sovereignty?

Let's look at it the other way around: If Japanese people landed on the island instead of China people, law enforcement officers in China arrested these Japanese people. Before the Japanese government protested, there was no need for China to take these Japanese back to the mainland for detention, and China directly announced the expulsion of these Japanese. Obviously, such an incident can only well declare China's sovereignty over the Diaoyu Islands, but not Japanese sovereignty over the Diaoyu Islands. The opposite is true.

Although fishing on the island has no influence on the declaration of sovereignty, it doesn't mean anything. The only significance of fishing on the island is to remind China people that Diaoyu Island is the territory of China and occupied by foreign invaders. As China people, they have the responsibility to expel the invaders and regain the sovereignty of this territory!

Fishing on the island is only for publicity. If China people don't take other actions, it means that China people can land on Diaoyu Island every day. That's it. When the seas run dry and the rocks crumble, can they recover the sovereignty of the Diaoyu Islands? How to get back the sovereignty of Diaoyu Island? There are only three ways: economic means, war means and diplomatic means.

The economic means is to boycott Japanese goods. Pro-Japanese factions in China oppose boycotting Japanese goods. Their reasons are:

1. With the integration of the world economy, the economies of China and Japan are heavily dependent. Part of Japanese goods are produced in China, and part of Japanese goods are produced in China, China and even some Japanese companies' shareholders. Boycott of Japanese goods is bound to hurt China's economy.

There may be nothing wrong with boycotting Japanese goods to harm China's economy. But everything is closely related to interests, and only beneficial and harmless things do not exist. This is dialectics. Boycott of Japanese goods is harmful to both China and Japan. The key is to distinguish who is in charge and who is in charge

What China can benefit most from Japanese goods is the Sino-Japanese joint venture. Most of these Sino-Japanese joint ventures use Japanese patents, and enterprises need to pay most of their profits to Japan as patent fees, and the rest can be distributed according to shares.

A few years ago, there was a survey in the media. Domestic factories produce a DVD, and China has to pay more than 20 dollars in patent fees abroad, while domestic enterprises can only get a profit of one dollar. If this is a Sino-Japanese joint venture factory, China and Japan each hold 50% of the shares. To produce a DVD, we have to pay the patent fee of 20 dollars to Japan first, and only the profit of that dollar can be distributed to China according to the shares. In this way, China can only get a profit of $0.5, while the Japanese can get a profit of $20.5.

How does China's meager profit cover up the Japanese's bloodthirsty profit in China?

The second reason given by the pro-Japanese faction is that boycotting Japanese goods will make Japanese workers unemployed. For example, many Japanese cars are made in China. If Japanese goods are boycotted, workers in China will lose their jobs. This statement seems reasonable, but it is actually fallacious. China people buy China cars instead of Japanese cars. If the sales of China cars increase, the China factory will expand production, which will attract more workers to find jobs.

3. The third reason given by the pro-Japanese faction is that Japan has technological advantages and China cannot be weaned like a baby. China has long had a complete range of industries. Although the technology is not very strong, it is by no means a baby. As we all know, babies must be weaned if they want to grow up. At present, many departments in China have no core technology and are subject to people. The key reason is that children who keep breastfeeding will never grow up.

It's not that China can't wean, but that some people can't "psychologically wean".

The fourth reason given by pro-Japanese faction is that domestic products are not strong. Generally speaking, domestic products are inferior to Japanese products in technology and quality. But patriotism can't just be empty talk. Patriotism needs to pay a price. 1940, Gandhi, the father of India, called on the Indian people to spin and weave their own fabrics and boycott British textiles. Hand-woven home-made cloth is uncomfortable to wear, while British "foreign cloth" is obviously cheap, but Indians have overcome difficulties and resolutely resisted British textiles. Indians resolutely "boycotted British goods", which made Britain yield and India gained independence. Can Indians boycott British goods without domestic products, and can't China boycott Japanese goods without domestic products?

The second effective means to recapture the Diaoyu Islands is military means. But the war is even more cruel, not only at the cost of economy, but also at the cost of human life. However, in order to safeguard the territorial sovereignty of the country, it is inevitable to pay the price. The cost of military means is far greater than that of economic means. If you don't want to pay the small price of "boycotting Japanese goods", the cruel price of war means can't be discussed.

Some people say that the Diaoyu Islands can be taken back through diplomatic means, but diplomacy can only be a continuation of economic and military means. Without economic and military means, diplomatic means will become empty talk.

Without the courage to resist Japanese goods, military means are even more out of the question, and diplomatic means have lost their role. In this way, it will never be possible for China to recover the Diaoyu Islands, and the fishing protection movement will be meaningless. (Midnight Star 1968/ Yingxianzhang)
