Problems with OET nurses working in Australia

The full English name of "OET" is "Occupational English Test" and its Chinese name is Occupational English Test. It has two forms: OET NURSING (Occupational English Test for Nurses) and OET MEDICAL PRACTITIONER (Occupational English Test for Doctors) in Australia. It is a public examination that is essentially the same as the current popular English proficiency tests in China such as IELTS, TOEFL, GMAT, GRE, and TOEIC. Among them, the OET Nurse Occupational English Test is an occupational English test sponsored by the Australian Speech Association. It is an occupational English test for medical staff who have received professional training and coaching outside Australia and are interested in working in Australia. The Australian Nurses Association stipulates that all overseas nurses who need to obtain Australian registered nurse qualifications must pass the OET Nurse Occupational English Test. The Australian Medical Association stipulates that all domestic doctors who need to obtain Australian medical professional qualifications must pass the Australian OET Medical Professional English Test. At the same time, Australian immigration law also has relevant regulations. When doctors and nurses apply to immigrate to Australia, OET test scores are one of the qualifications for skilled immigrants and are the standard for evaluating the applicant's English proficiency. According to the examination rules of the Australian Speech Association, the OET examination is held outside Australia every year in March and September. Candidates must register directly or through a training and coaching institution 2 months in advance to participate in the examination.
