Extended information:

During the Hongwu period, Zhu Yuanzhang handled four major cases, namely, the Kongyin case, the Hu Weiyong case, the Guo Huan case and the Lanyu case, which were called the Hongwu major cases.

and they all have the same feature, that is, they have dealt with a large number of officials. When the four cases add up, the total number of officials dealt with exceeds 1,, the most famous of which is the Hu Weiyong case.

Hu Weiyong's case occurred in the 13th year of Hongwu, which refers to the incident of Emperor Hongwu's killing of Prime Minister Hu Weiyong, and then wantonly implicating and killing the hero's old general. This case has a wide range of implications.

when Hu Weiyong was killed, Zhu Yuanzhang stopped acting as the prime minister, abolished the province of Zhongshu, which was divided into six parts, and set up a cabinet for the emperor as an adviser. Cabinet college students are not as good as prime ministers, but only have the power to send eunuchs first, and then present them to the emperor. Since then, China has no post of prime minister.

After Hu Weiyong was killed, the case was not closed, and his charges were escalating. At first, it was only said that Hu Weiyong had the right to plant a party, and later, he was charged with communicating with Japan, Lu and rebellion, and was constantly implicated and expanded.

The number of accomplices in this case has been investigated more and more, and the scope involved has become wider and wider, which has continued for several years and has not been settled.
