In the pre-Qin period, Zou's activities were mainly in Shandong. After Qin and Han Dynasties, Zou quickly moved to Henan and Hubei. During the Three Kingdoms and the Jin Dynasty, Zou Dongdu crossed Shaanxi and crossed the river to Hunan, Zhejiang, Jiangxi and Anhui. During the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, fires raged in the north. It is said that Zou, who was born in Fanyang area in ancient times, was the first to suffer. Together with other northern gentry, they also went south to avoid disaster in the areas of Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and then dispersed in Fujian and Guangdong.
During the Tang Dynasty, the Central Plains moved to the south for the second time, and the Zou family moved to the south of the Yangtze River, and the Zou family in Fujian and Guangdong developed greatly. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Zou Yinglong moved from Taining to Shangbao Township, Changting, and his son Dianbalang moved to Jiaokeng, Qingxi Community (now Anxi, Fujian). Dianba Lang gave birth to five sons, and the second son Zou Dehong moved to Xiangling Kaiji, Changle (now Wuhua County), Guangdong Province. His descendants lived in Huayang and Yumo towns, and some moved to Meizhou, Jieyang and Heping Music.
