1. Those who have lived in Japan continuously for more than 5 years generally cannot exceed 3 months, and the cumulative period of 1 year cannot exceed 150 days.

Application for permanent residence

1. Have lived in Japan for more than 10 years and worked for more than 5 years. Hold a residence qualification of 3 or 5 years at the time of application.

2. Abide by Japanese laws and regulations, have no criminal record, and have no traffic violations.

3. Have enough income or assets to maintain life, with an annual income of not less than 3 million yen.

4. Have the obligation to pay taxes, and have no arrears in annuity and insurance.

Application for permanent residence of high-quality talents

1.70 to 79, you can apply for permanent residence after three years.

Those with a score of 2.80 or above can apply for permanent residence after one year.
