My China passport overstays 70 days in Macau. What should I do if I don't pay the fine?
According to the first paragraph of No.32 of the administrative regulations. Administrative RegulationNo. 5/2003 as amended by Administrative RegulationNo. 5/2003. 23/2009
Those who overstay in the Macao Special Administrative Region for not more than 30 days will be fined MOP 200 yuan for each overdue day; Those who repeatedly commit crimes within 180 days or overstay for more than 30 days shall be regarded as illegal immigrants, and shall be deported and prohibited from re-entering the Macao Special Administrative Region within a certain period of time (see relevant laws and regulations for details). Overstaying is not a criminal offence, so it will not be sentenced to deprivation of liberty.
