When my old father saw the dam forming day by day, he couldn't help feeling a lot, because my old father was the earliest reservoir builder and witnessed the previous life of reservoir construction. In order to sneak into the Ming Reservoir, it is true that Jinyun "spans sixty years, relays several generations, and tired the hair of several generations". It was the summer of 1958, the first year of the Great Leap Forward. Construction is going on everywhere. As the father of capable people in the village, he was sent to be a railway soldier, accompanied by his uncles Zhou Fujin and Zhou Mandou in the same village. Each of them gave 10 Jin of rice to the brigade in advance, took some food and set off because it was too late for the team to arrange things. I started on the road early the next morning, but when I was approaching the new building, I met many people who were walking back. I didn't know it was also the Railway Corps until I asked. It was said that the Railway Corps headquarters was not ready. The following commune was so active in transferring people, and the superior informed us that the Railway Corps would be the "Dongfanghong" reservoir. In this way, my father and his party followed the crowd and diverted back to the left library of Huzhen to make the Dongfanghong Reservoir. When it comes to reservoirs, it's actually just an idea at best. Why do you say that? Because there was only one path from Huzhen to Zuoku at that time, the reservoir had to start from the road. Two or three months ago, my father lived near Huzhen and took a large army to build roads. At that time, the tools were backward, and the sediment was basically picked. The stone was carried by two shoulders, but many hands make light work, and the task was segmented. Everyone is in full swing and the progress of widening the road is relatively fast. By September of that year, the subgrade from Huzhen to Zuoku was basically completed, and the walking tractor was ready to pass. In this way, the whole team went north to the Mingkeng area in front of Zuoku, and my father and his party followed them to live in Likengkou Village. Because of the large population, local cadres mobilized members to vacate all available houses for migrant workers to live in. My father lives in a private house on the first floor. When the weather is bad, it is a disaster. Really. Nevertheless, everyone is full of energy. At work, everyone shouted their own songs to cheer for everyone. The scene is really in full swing. However, enthusiasm does not represent progress, and the dam bottom needs to be cut off. At that time, there was only one Sanma pump in the whole project, which was sometimes good or bad, so sometimes it was slightly built and washed away by the water the next day. If the pump is broken, use rickshaw water. Although there are several shelves, the water pumped up is not as good as the water seeped back, and the progress is very slow. However, to be a reservoir army, we still have to carry forward the spirit of "being foolish and being a mountain" and persevere. Because of the need for clay, there was a special team to dig and borrow soil. Later, the hill beside the reservoir was dug in half. The time for building the reservoir is very tight. It is dark not only in the morning, but also in the New Year. It didn't stop until February 27, 65438, and began on the eighth day of the first month of the following year. However, these are the products of the Great Leap Forward. Without scientific design and effective tools, such a big project was really impossible at that time, so the project lasted for about a year and finally had to stop working. But it is precisely because of this bud at that time that the dream will come true now through the development of the times and the efforts of several generations. This is a great victory for our indomitable spirit of Jinyun people!
