What conditions and materials are required for Filipinos to enter China?
According to the Implementation Rules of China’s Entry and Exit Management Law for Foreigners, foreigners applying for a visa need to answer the relevant questions asked and complete the following materials:
1. Provide their valid passport or A valid document that can replace a passport;
2. Fill in the visa application form and submit photos;
3. Submit proof related to the purpose of application;
4 . Foreigners who come to China to settle down or stay for more than one year must submit a health certificate when applying for entry.
Application method:
1. Apply to the Chinese embassy or consulate abroad or the visa office in Hong Kong or Macao authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Article 6 of the "Measures for the Administration of Entry and Exit of Foreigners" stipulates: "Foreigners entering China should apply for a visa to China's diplomatic representative agencies, consular agencies or other overseas agencies authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs."
2. Apply to the entry-exit administration authority in China. The domestic entry-exit management agencies are the Ministry of Public Security and local public security agencies entrusted by the Ministry of Public Security, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and local foreign affairs departments entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Generally speaking, visas for diplomatic and official passports are handled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and local foreign affairs departments; visas for ordinary passports are handled by the public security organs.
3. For persons from countries that have signed visa agreements with the Chinese government, entry will be handled in accordance with the agreements. Here, handling in accordance with the agreement has two meanings: first, if China has signed mutual visa exemptions and simplified visa procedures with some countries; second, if China has signed agreements with neighboring countries on mutual exchanges of border residents, it should be handled in accordance with the agreement.

In view of the particularity of border residents’ entry, the following regulations are made:
1. Regulations for entering China with border passes and border resident ID cards, It is only applicable to border residents of the other country and is not suitable for third countries living in the border area and non-border residents of the country.
2. When foreign border residents enter the country, they must enter through ports or passages designated by China.
3. Foreign border residents can only move in China’s border areas or restricted areas after entry, and cannot enter mainland China beyond the restricted areas. If you want to enter the mainland, you must apply to the entry and exit administration department of the local public security bureau. You can only enter after approval. Otherwise, it will be regarded as illegal entry.
4. The activities of foreign border residents entering the country are limited to short-term visits to relatives and friends, seeking medical treatment and buying medicines, mutual trade, intermarriage, pilgrimage, small trade, entry work, and participation in traditional ethnic festivals. Under certain circumstances, there is also overcultivation and pasture.
5. After entering the country, foreign border residents should move within the counties (cities) in the border areas, and their stay period should generally not exceed one month. Foreign border residents who wish to stay in China after entering the country must complete accommodation registration procedures.
