Supplementary materials for American visas

You don't need to submit the supplementary materials for the US visa in person.

The visa officer will notify the specific materials to be provided in writing. Supplementary materials can be submitted online by e-mail or fax (02 1-62 172072) without new appointment. If you need to submit the materials in person, the consulate will send you an "entry notice" through EMS, provided that you leave the EMS mailing address.

According to the supplementary materials provided, the visa officer will decide whether to approve the application, accept administrative review or reject it.

The key is what supplementary materials are submitted, and whether the supplementary materials submitted at the same time meet the needs of visa officers. If it is only the previous work unit or study unit, it will have little impact on the visa, but if the current or previous work and study unit is related to some sensitive things, it will be a bit difficult.
