Hepo Town was changed to Hepo Street in 2006. It is located in the central and western part of Jiexi County. There are approximately 700,000 to 800,000 descendants of the Hepo people who moved to various parts of Guangdong and Guangxi. To this day, they still maintain the complete Hepo Hakka accent and cultural customs.
