Ruijin City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi Province, which is hosted by Ganzhou City. It is located in the south of Jiangxi Province, at the west foot of the southern section of Wuyi Mountain, at the east source of Ganjiang River and at the upper reaches of Gongshui River. It is connected to Changting County of Fujian Province in the east, Huichang County in the south, Du Xian County in the west and Ningdu and Shicheng County in the north, with a total area of 244 1.40 square kilometers. Ruijin landform:

Ruijin city is located in the middle of the first-order structural unit of Wuyishan uplift, and the middle of the new Cathaysian structural belt from Xunwu to Guixi. The stratum is completely exposed, and the structure develops in the northeast and near east-west direction. The main vein of Wuyi Mountain in the southeast is continuous, and the northwest is surrounded by Huazi, Huo Yan and Tianziling, forming a terrain with high mountains in the east, north and west, and gradually decreasing in the middle and southwest.

It constitutes the Ruijin Basin with Hu Xiang Town as the center, which belongs to one of the four great basin in Jiangxi. Ruijin is located on the west side of the southern section of Wuyishan, with high terrain around and low middle. The highest peak is located in three counties in the northeast border, with an altitude of 1232.9 meters, and the lowest point is located in Shijiao, the exit of Mianjiang River on the southwest edge, with an altitude of 162 meters.

The territory is dominated by low mountains and hills, and the main landform types are eroded middle and low mountains, eroded hilly areas, dissolved karst areas and valley accumulation terraces.
