Natural resources in Xiaba Township

(1) Climate: Xiaba Township belongs to the subtropical monsoon temperate zone, with an average temperature of 15℃, an average elevation of 1250m and a minimum elevation of 827m m. It is a low-altitude town on the outskirts of Guiyang, with an annual total radiation of 85.48 kcal /cm2, an annual average rainfall of 1 178mm and an annual sunshine of 65,500.

(2) Topography and soil: Xiaba Township is located in the lower reaches of Nanming River, with the river as the boundary, separating Xiaba, Laping and Yanshan villages from Guding, Guba, Gujin, Gugeng and Taoxin villages. Mountains and rivers, deep valleys and cliffs are cut off in the south of the river. The market town is located on the hilly ridge in the north of Hebei Province, with valley basin potential in the east. The geology is Triassic Longtan Formation and the lithology is.

(3) Water resources and hydropower resources: Nanming River, the Zuoyuan main stream of Qingshui River, a tributary of Wujiang River, runs through Xiaba Township from southwest to southeast. According to the general survey of hydropower resources in Wujiang River Basin of Guiyang City, there are four planned power stations, namely Laping, Wengbo, Baishui River and Zhoujiaqiao. Xiaba Power Station has been approved by the provincial government and developed by Zhejiang Ye Feng Hydropower Development Co., Ltd., with an estimated investment of 300 million yuan and annual power generation. It is connected with the neighboring Dahua Power Station and Datang River Power Station, laying a solid foundation for the development of water transport in Guiyang inland open city.

(4) Mineral resources: Coal, iron ore, dolomite, silica ore and marble have been proved in the township, among which coal mines are mainly distributed in Xiaba, Laping and Yanshan villages, iron ore is mainly distributed in Gujin village, Xiaba village and Gugeng village, marble is distributed in Gujin village, and dolomite and silica ore are distributed in Taoxin village.

(5) Vegetation conditions and biological resources: The natural vegetation in Xiaba Township belongs to three vegetation types: subtropical coniferous forest, broad-leaved forest and shrub grass. In 2004, the forest coverage rate was 46%, and the cultivated vegetation was mainly Dendrocalamus affinis, which was the bamboo town of Guiyang, covering an area of more than 20,000 mu. Adjacent areas include Phoenix Mountain Forest Farm, State-owned Hai Shun Forest Farm and Meiyuan Base.

(6) Tourism resources: 1, located in the lower reaches of Xiangsi River, a provincial-level scenic spot-the scenery of Pudu River Canyon. (located in Xiaba Village) 2. Bala Canyon, a well-known scenic spot at the provincial level, is being developed and has received tourists. The scenery of Baishui River to be developed has also attracted the attention of merchants. 3. Water tourism in Xiaba Power Station and Tao Xin Reservoir Area can be another landscape. 4. The "Oriental disco" in Kuching with national characteristics-the great dance of Miao people and the virgin forest in Kuching where they live, have created a good environment for the development of farmhouse music. 5. Meiyuan is built adjacent to Taoxin Haishun Forest Farm, and the chicken raising project under the forest is large in scale, which provides a good space for eco-tourism.

(VII) Transportation and power resources: The completion of Songjiaba 35,000-volt substation and Xiaba power station can meet the power demand of Xiaba industry, agriculture and even the development of the tertiary industry. The concept of "two verticals and four horizontals" has been added to the regional transportation planning, including Dashiban secondary highway, paddy field, slope and new castle-Bala Canyon, which will outline a beautiful blueprint for the economic development of Xiaba.

(8) Agricultural resources: The geological, climatic and hydrological conditions of the township are suitable for the growth of agricultural and forest plants. The mountainous area is large and rich in land resources, which is conducive to the all-round development of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery.

(9) Communication resources: At present, more than 40 natural villages in Baxiang have optical cables, 60% have cable TV, 90% have program-controlled telephones, and 1000% have mobile phones. In 2006-2007, 100% cable TV, telephone and broadband network access will be realized.
