New Zealand immigrants from China are rooted in China.

A recent research report by Dr. China from the University of Auckland has attracted the attention of local English media. The survey was published in the New Zealand English Herald on May 4th. According to the survey, although more and more China people immigrated to New Zealand, most of them did not choose to stay in New Zealand.

Of the 47 people interviewed, 27 chose to return to China, another 10 immigrated to Australia, and only 10 chose to stay in New Zealand. It can be seen from this figure that even though many people obtained the status of New Zealand, they finally chose to leave New Zealand. Some of them went back to China, others went to other countries, such as Australia. Even if some people choose to immigrate to New Zealand temporarily, they only use New Zealand as a springboard and transit point.

When talking about why they chose to leave New Zealand, the respondents' reason was to find better employment opportunities, and there were other factors, such as family factors, emotional factors and being unpopular in New Zealand. New Zealand is not a tolerant and multicultural country, and China people will never be recognized here.

As a matter of fact, for China people, emigrating to New Zealand is not the best choice, which lags far behind the United States, Canada and Australia. But New Zealand is a very good way to reach these final destinations? Springboard? It's much easier to immigrate here first and then go to other places.
