What are the eight economic circles in China?

In view of the blindness and randomness of the division of domestic economic circle, the background, present situation and development trend of regional economy are comprehensively weighed. In the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, the new pattern of regional development in China is to form eight economic circles based on urban agglomerations. Namely: 1. Great Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle; Great Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle with Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration as the Core. Including the present Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration and Jianghuai urban agglomeration. 2. Bohai Economic Circle; Bohai Economic Circle with Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Shandong Peninsula as the core. In the past, the economic circle around Bohai Sea included Liaoning, but in terms of economic ties, Liaoning Province has closer ties with Jilin Province, Heilongjiang Province and eastern Inner Mongolia, but not with Shandong Peninsula and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, so the economic circle around Bohai Sea does not include Liaoning. Although Shanxi Province is divided into the central part, its ties with Henan, Hubei and Hunan are not as close as those with Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. Central Inner Mongolia is closely related to Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Shandong Peninsula, so the Bohai Rim includes Shanxi and central Inner Mongolia. In order to distinguish it from the Bohai Economic Circle, the Pan-Bohai Economic Circle was put forward. 3. Greater Pearl River Delta Economic Circle; Greater Pearl River Delta Economic Circle with Pearl River Delta as the core. In 2003, it was called Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Circle, and now it is called "9+2" mode, so it was changed to Greater Pearl River Delta Economic Circle. 4. Northeast Economic Circle; Northeast economic circle with central and southern Liaoning as the core. 5. Strait economic circle; Strait economic circle with urban agglomeration on the west side of the Taiwan Strait and Taipei as the core. If we want peaceful reunification, we must first make unified planning. In addition, the economic ties between the west side of the Taiwan Strait, which is dominated by Fujian, and Taiwan Province Province are very close. Therefore, we regard the west coast of Taiwan Strait as the economic circle of Taiwan Strait. 6. Central economic circle; The Central Plains economic circle with the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, the Central Plains urban agglomeration and the Central Hunan urban agglomeration as the core. The central economic circle does not include Anhui, that is, Jianghuai urban agglomeration. 7. Southwest economic circle; Southwest economic circle with Sichuan-Chongqing urban agglomeration as the core. 8. Northwest Economic Circle. Northwest economic circle with Guanzhong as the core.
