Eighteenth Hong Kong and Macao compatriots who wish to settle in the mainland shall apply to the municipal or county public security bureau in advance. After approval, with the "Home Visit Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Compatriots" and the endorsement of returning home, the permanent residence formalities will be handled at the place of residence.
Twenty-first Hong Kong and Macao compatriots home visit permit shall be kept by the holder, valid for ten years, and can be used many times during the validity period. If the validity period expires or the check page runs out, a new card can be issued. The application for renewal of a new certificate shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of these Measures.
