Comparison of IELTS and TOEIC difficulty
The TOEIC test is the largest business and professional English test in the world. IELTS is an English proficiency test for those who intend to study, work or settle in English-speaking countries.
Thus, if you don't plan to study abroad, but only want to provide your English certificate from your bank, toeic is enough.
The topics of the two exams are listening, speaking, reading and writing. But the difficulty of toeic is relatively low. Personally, I think IELTS is more difficult than CET-6, and TOEIC is simpler than CET-6.
The prices of the two exams are almost the same, both are 1500+, with little difference, but I don't know if there has been any price increase recently, and the change should not be too big. In addition, the TOEIC test was developed by ETS in the United States, and even the TOEFL and GRE tests were developed by their family in the United States. There is no TOEIC test in China. Therefore, toeic should be recognized by foreign companies, such as Procter & Gamble.
Last but not least, it is suggested that the subjects confirm with the proposed bank whether they recognize TOEFL scores. Generally speaking, domestic banks recognize IELTS and TOEFL scores of CET-4 and CET-6, but not necessarily TOEFL scores.
If it is confirmed that the unit recognizes toeic, it is still recommended that the subjects choose toeic exam.
I wish the subject a smooth job and a smooth exam ~
