Brief introduction of Pingzhen.

Pingzhen belongs to the east and west sides of the Xuefeng Mountain arc structural belt and the north wing of the front arc of Qiyang Mountain structure. It is a hilly basin with various landforms, including flat land, hills, hills and mountains, with Zhu Jin in the north, Langguan Mountain in the south, Lianyuan Cai Xi in the east and Dacheng Mountain in the west. There are many mountains around the territory, all of which belong to Longshan Mountain range. Longshan mountain range extends from Lianyuan, Xinshao border to Xinhua, and the plateau is in the process of extension. The terrain is high in the south and low in the north. The southern part is the southern margin of Xinlian Basin and Daishan Mountain Range, which is open to the north in a chair shape. It is the north gate of Xinshao, with Langguan Mountain in the south, Lengshuijiang City in the north, Lianyuan City in the east, Tanxi and Shicun Town in the south, and Daxin Township across the river in the west. Pingzhen was called Datong in ancient times, which means "Great Harmony in the World". Pingshan has a long history and is a treasure in central Hunan.
