Pingzhen belongs to the east and west sides of the Xuefeng Mountain arc structural belt and the north wing of the front arc of Qiyang Mountain structure. It is a hilly basin with various landforms, including flat land, hills, hills and mountains, with Zhu Jin in the north, Langguan Mountain in the south, Lianyuan Cai Xi in the east and Dacheng Mountain in the west.
