Legal analysis: criminal records will not be automatically eliminated. For drug addicts, the police station will carry out dynamic control, which requires the urine test supervision of the police station for three consecutive years. If there is no problem, you can issue a certificate and apply for deregulation step by step. The history of drug abuse cannot be eliminated for life. After being caught taking drugs, they should also be included in the police dynamic monitoring system. For example, someone comes to the hotel to check and have a regular urine test every month. If you have been successfully detoxified for more than three years, the police can cancel the dynamic management, but the drug abuse record cannot be eliminated, and it will still be listed as the key control object by the police. According to the relevant laws and regulations, after the illegal acts of drug addicts are seized, the public security organs will establish special files for long-term preservation. Drug addicts (including those who are forced to give up drugs) are under the key supervision of the police station, and the community correction office implements community drug rehabilitation. If no drug abuse or drug injection has been found for more than three years, community drug rehabilitation measures and police station supervision can be lifted.

Legal basis: Article 14 of the Regulation on Drug Addiction, community drug addicts shall report to the township (town) people's government and city street offices that implement community drug rehabilitation within 15 days from the date of receiving the decision to order community drug rehabilitation. Failing to report within the time limit without justifiable reasons shall be regarded as refusing to accept community drug rehabilitation. Community detoxification period is 3 years, counting from the date of registration.

Article 27 of the Regulation on Drug Addiction, the period of compulsory isolation for drug addiction treatment is 2 years, counting from the date when the decision on compulsory isolation for drug addiction treatment is made. After three to six months of compulsory isolation and detoxification in the compulsory isolation and detoxification center of the public security organ, the compulsory isolation and detoxification personnel will be transferred to the compulsory isolation and detoxification center of the judicial administrative department to continue compulsory isolation and detoxification. For the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government that do not meet the implementation conditions specified in the preceding paragraph, the public security organs and judicial administrative departments shall put forward opinions and report them to the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government to decide on specific implementation plans, but the time for compulsory isolation and detoxification in the compulsory isolation drug rehabilitation places of public security organs shall not exceed 12 months.
