Bai Qing Ge can be watched on Korean TV, updated every Friday afternoon 1 episode. The play tells the story of four generations of Korean immigrant families. The story begins with a forbidden love affair and expands into an epic legend about hopes and dreams, peace, love and loss, victory and calculation across Korea, Japan and the United States.

From North Korea to Japan, the feud of four generations of immigrant families and the great light of the great era have left a rugged shadow on every little person, dragging their bodies forward. From 1920 to Osaka, Japan, it experienced World War II and Korean War, and finally to Yokohama, Tokyo and even new york in the bubble economy era of Japan in the late 1990s.

Under such a complicated historical background, the whole drama focuses on the intergenerational relations and contradictions on a series of issues, such as family and hometown, integration and belonging, money and belief.
