The Historical Evolution of Zhongxing Town

From the end of 1955 to the beginning of 1956, eight new immigrant villages were built to receive and resettle immigrants from Shandong province. 1March, 956, the former Seventh Division was divided into four towns: Sheng Xing, Xinghua, Tongli and Baoan. 1June, 957, Shengxing Township was changed to Zhongxing Township. 1April, 958, Xinghua Township was merged into bao an xiang. In September of the same year, ZTE, Baoan and Tongli merged into ZTE People's Commune. 1April, 984, changed to Zhongxing Township.
