Wang is a citizen of China, and his son and daughter became American citizens after they were born in the United States. Wang, 1982, born on April 29th in Nanhe District, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is an actor and director in China Mainland. Wang Baoqiang started practicing martial arts at the age of 6 and became a lay disciple of Shaolin Temple at the age of 8. In 2003, he won the Best Newcomer Award in the 40th Taiwan Film Golden Horse Award for his drama Blind Well.
