Will China citizens be punished if their Indonesian visas expire?

In August 2005, the Indonesian government allowed China (Mainland) citizens to apply for visas on arrival at the open ports of Indonesian airports and ports.

Generally speaking, visas on arrival are not extended and must be re-applied abroad.
