What if the green card expires?

This question is so interesting. I personally experienced that my green card expired for six years. Last year, I entered the United States on a tourist visa, and then I went to ask an immigration lawyer. The immigration lawyer said, bite the bullet and apply. Who knows which immigration officer will hear your case? If you are required to resubmit the materials, you can submit them as required.

Without any hope, I submitted an extension application form (it seems to be I90, which should be specifically asked by immigration lawyers, preferably through immigration law firms), and soon got an interview notice. When I went to the designated immigration service center for an interview, I didn't ask anything. On the spot, I posted a bar code on the back of the old green card that was postponed for six months, took photos, pressed my handprint, filled out the form, and told me that a new green card would be issued within six months!

Isn't it a miracle that it's so simple? I don't know, because no one knows what the immigration officer thinks and how to deal with it.

So, don't give up easily. This matter always comes one by one at the immigration office. If you are lucky, you will get an extension as easy as blowing off dust. My idea at that time was that if it was a big deal, it would not be postponed, or the materials would be postponed again.
