(1) residence permit

According to the Cambodian Immigration Law, foreigners who arrive in Cambodia with a commercial visa must apply for a residence permit within 2 days after arriving at the foreigner's office of the provincial and municipal police headquarters where they live. (1) The Ministry of Social Welfare of the Royal Government of Cambodia has promulgated regulations on the employment of foreign labor in enterprises.

All responsible persons or managers of industry, commerce, service industry, transportation, public enterprises, public-private joint ventures and private enterprises, as well as leaders of all religious enterprises, vocational training or charitable enterprises and freelancers and associations, when employing foreign workers, these foreigners must hold labor certificates and labor manuals issued by the Ministry of Social Welfare.
