Feeding method of sow

1. Epidemic prevention: All kinds of vaccines should be immunized before breeding, and the types of vaccinated vaccines should be determined according to the epidemic situation of endemic diseases.

2. Feeding: 20% feed should be added to the sow 20-30 days before breeding to promote ovulation and increase the number of ovulation, generally 2-2.3 kg/day, depending on the feed quality and the sow's physical condition (sows should maintain 80-90% expression).

3. The energy in the feed should not be too high in the early pregnancy. Attention should be paid to the quality and quantity of protein (the feed should contain more than 16% cp), and the sow's feed should be gradually increased in the middle and late pregnancy until the feed reaches the peak at 1 month before delivery, and the feed should be reduced one week before delivery.

4. This feeding method is called "step by step" feeding method, because sows need certain nutrition besides the growth and development of piglets, and at the same time need to store some nutrients in their bodies, so they must be fed in this way.

5. In the process of feeding, we can strengthen the management of sows, control the environment of pig houses and minimize embryo death. The temperature of the pigsty should be kept at 16-22℃ and the relative humidity should be 70%-80%. After breeding, the feeding quantity should be reduced to the original low level, but the high quality and full price should be guaranteed, and the enclosure should be kept clean and hygienic to reduce the chance of infection.
