Analysis:

On September 13, the Provincial Information Office held a press conference on the construction of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project, announcing that the Anyang section of the Middle Route of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project will start construction at the end of September. At present, the preparatory work for the construction of Anyang section of the main water conveyance canal has been completed.

It is understood that this is the first project started in April this year in our province, entrusted by the Central Trunk Project Construction Administration of the State Council to manage trunk projects in Henan Province.

According to Zhang Tongli, director of the South-to-North Water Diversion Office, the Anyang section of the Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Diversion is under construction. The section from the north to Zhanghe River is 40.4 kilometers long, including nearly 40 kilometers of open channel and Anyang River inverted siphon project, Zhangbei River culvert project and Honghe inverted siphon project, with a total investment of 2.06 billion yuan and a construction period of 3 years. At present, the service road is 2.7 kilometers, the power supply line 10 kV, and the site leveling of the production and living quarters has been completed.

It is understood that Henan is the section with the longest channel, the largest number of immigrants, the largest area and the largest investment in the Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project. There are 210.2 million planned immigrants, covering an area of 355,000 mu, including 654,380+0.8 million mu of permanent immigrants.

The Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project draws water from the head of Taocha Canal of Danjiangkou Reservoir in our province to Tuancheng Lake in Beijing, with a total length of 1.277km, of which 73 1km in our province flows through 8 provincial cities and 2 1 county (city). The first phase of the Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project has an annual water allocation of 9.5 billion cubic meters, which is 3.769 billion cubic meters for our province. There are 43 water supply counties and cities in our province, including 1 1, 7 county-level cities and 25 county towns. The main form of water conveyance is pipeline, and it is planned that 20 10 will be completed simultaneously with the main project.
