The first wave of epidemic in Hong Kong was before the Spring Festival in 2020. According to relevant public information, Hong Kong has experienced five waves of epidemic in a strict sense: the first wave was introduced from Hubei before the Spring Festival in 2022, the second wave spread locally after the Spring Festival, the third wave was introduced from overseas tourism in early March, and the fourth wave was introduced from overseas immigrants in mid-March.
