Australia 188 business innovation and investment immigrant visa is a part of Australia's business innovation and investment projects. Holding this visa is the first step to obtain an Australian 888 permanent residence visa. Applicants need to submit EOI through SkillSelect and be nominated. There are five types of visas:

Business innovation category 188A

Applicable to applicants with business skills who want to start, develop or manage a new or existing company in Australia. Applicants must be nominated by the state or regional government (starting at A $200,000).

Investor category 188B

Suitable for applicants who want to invest at least A $6.5438+A $0.5 million in Australia and maintain their business and investment activities in Australia. Applicants must be nominated by state or regional governments.

Major investor categories 188C

Suitable for applicants who are willing to invest at least 5 million Australian dollars in Australia to meet the requirements and want to maintain business and investment activities in Australia. Applicants need to be nominated by the Australian state or territory government or the Australian Trade Commission (Australia) on behalf of the Australian government.

High-end investor category 188D

Suitable for people who are willing to make high-end investment of at least A $6,543,805 in Australia and want to maintain their business and investment activities in Australia. Applicants must be nominated by Austrade, which represents the Australian government.

Entrepreneur category 188E

It is suitable for entrepreneurs who obtain at least A $200,000 investment funds from third parties and plan to conduct business activities or commercialize a product or service in Australia. Applicants must be nominated by state or regional governments.
