Can immigrants stay in Taiwan Province Province without restriction?

It depends on what kind of situation you encounter before you can apply, and it is not completely unlimited.

If you have a SAR passport, it means that you were born in Hong Kong, and your passport is valid for more than six months. You can get a return ticket within 14 days, and you can apply for the Notice of Temporary Entry and Stay after you arrive in Taiwan Province Province.

Arrive at Taoyuan or Kaohsiung International Airport in Taiwan Province Province to apply for temporary entry. It is valid for 14 days and the fee is NT$ 200. You can enter and leave the country once.

If you were not born in Hongkong, but have been to Taiwan Province Province since 1983, you can also apply for a visa on arrival, otherwise you must apply for an entry permit first.

People born in mainland China, who go to Taiwan Province Province for the first time and apply for entry permit but have never been to Taiwan Province Province (entry permit is usually valid for three months), will apply for entry permit in Admiralty (application by Admiralty Hong Kong China Travel Service).

To apply for a traditional entry permit, you need to bring two photos, a copy of your identity and an airmail envelope.

You can also apply for the entry permit directly online and pick it up at the counter of China Travel Agency when you arrive at the airport. You can stay in Taiwan Province Province for 30 days with an entry permit, not indefinitely.
