Manchu?

Manchu, also known as Manchu, is a part of the Chinese nation. It was a branch of Donghu in ancient times and later developed into Mohong nationality. During the Song, Jin and Yuan Dynasties, she became a Jurchen, and was renamed Manchuria-Huang Taiji in the late Ming Dynasty.

To discuss this problem, we must make clear the meaning of the word China. In the modern political sense, China refers to the nation-state owned by the Chinese nation, which is different from that of China before. In the ancient Western Zhou Dynasty, China mainly refers to the place where Gyeonggi belonged, while from the Qin Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty, China mainly refers to the Central Plains, so Manchu is not "China", and even the subjects under the Ming Dynasty Empire are not all "China". Relatively remote areas, such as Guizhou and Hunan, were not regarded as China by the Ming court. It can be seen that ancient China mainly refers to the Central Plains or the feudal dynasty established in the Central Plains. For another example, there is a saying in the History of the Three Kingdoms that "Cao Cao commands China soldiers", so according to this understanding, Shu and Wu were not China at that time, but these places, like Manchuria (Northeast), are also part of China and are nation-states in the modern legal sense.

Then why did China become the official name of our country? This is because after the Qing army entered the customs, the Qing dynasty established an empire with a vast territory and particularly stable rule, and its pride increased sharply. Therefore, after entering the customs, it began to expand the scope of China infinitely (so China in Yongzheng's Records of Great Righteousness still refers to the Central Plains). It was not until the Qianlong period that China gradually became equal to all the territories of the Qing Dynasty.

During Daoguang, Xianfeng, Tongzhi and Guangxu periods, the influx of political thoughts from western countries brought one of the core ideas of modern western countries-the concept of nation-state. Under the guidance of the concept of nation-state, China's new intellectuals started the construction of the Chinese nation-state. In order to maintain the unity of China, they proposed to use the Chinese nation as a general term for Manchu, Han, Mongolian, Hui and Tibetan nationalities. This nation-state of the Chinese nation is China in the sense of modern political science. China, the name of this country, has become synonymous with the Qing Empire, the Republic of China and the people of China today.

Manchu is the source of China's human law: the Ming Dynasty established Nuer Tusi and Jianzhou Sanwei, which directly ruled the Jurchen area in the northeast, so Jurchen was a subject of the Ming Dynasty and belonged to the same country as the Han people. The Japanese have never accepted the rule of the Central Plains Dynasty, so he is not a country with the Han people. Therefore, the replacement of the Ming Dynasty by the Qing Dynasty is the replacement of the imperial central government, and Japan's invasion of China is a naked aggression against a sovereign country!
