Deadly Sniper: Frank (Clint Eastwood) is an old White House Secret Service agent who witnessed the assassination of President Kennedy. This time, he accepted a new task in charge of presidential security in his campaign speech.

The Secret Service got information that someone was going to assassinate the president during his trip, but the killer who claimed to be "George H.W. Bush" (john malkovich) called Frank's home and office several times.

The president goes to Chicago to give a speech, and Frank goes with Miss Riley (Rene Russo), who is also an agent. At the meeting with voters, "Bush" mixed in the crowd created a false alarm. Frank's wrong judgment made the president lose face in front of voters, so Frank was ordered to be transferred from the Presidential Guard. Fortunately, however, Frank and Riley had an affair at the same job.

When Frank came back, director Sam advised him to retire, but Frank insisted on finding the assassin. Finally, Frank found the clue of "Bush".
