Aquarium owners live in the upper reaches of Longjiang River and Duliujiang River at the junction of Guizhou and Guangxi, with Sandu County, Libo, Dushan and Duyun in the south of Guizhou as the main residential areas, Rongjiang, Danzhai, Leishan, Congjiang and Liping in the southeast as the main scattered areas, and there are aquarium villages such as Hechi, Nandan, Huanjiang, Rongshui and Fuyuan County in Yunnan in the north of Guangxi. The name of the aquarium was decided after the founding of New China. Before the Tang and Song Dynasties, the Shui people were called Liao. During the Northern Song Dynasty, a "water-rich county" appeared in this area. In Ming Dynasty, the "Shui" clan began to appear in historical records, and in Qing Dynasty it was generally called "Shui Family" and "Shui Miao Family". After the founding of New China, the general name of aquarium came into being.

There was another migration of the Shui people in Qin Dynasty, and Qin Shihuang conquered Lingnan, which led to the migration of the ancestors of the Shui people. This made the ancestors of Shui people break away from Baiyue tribe and gradually develop into a single nation. The second migration took place in the upper reaches of Longjiang and Duliujiang River, which was roughly similar to the distribution pattern of later generations.

After eight or nine hundred years of development, in the Tang Dynasty, the Shui people gradually became a single nation, and the original name of Sui was changed to water, which was related to Fushui County.

The crop of the Shui nationality is rice, and agriculture is developing well. There is a description of "planting rice like Hunan" in the history books. In order to resist the tyrannical rule of feudal dynasty, the upper class of Shui nationality has been armed, and there are many records of "committing border violence" in history books.

During the Song Dynasty, Fushui County hardly stopped resisting the oppression of the feudal dynasty. 10 16 (the ninth year of Song Dazhong Xiangfu), Cao Keming, the secretariat of Pingzhou, was ordered to carry out military repression and solved the problem.

The name of Fushui House was also changed to Anhua House, Fushui County to Guiren County and Shuijing County to Ning County. In addition to changing its name, the Song Dynasty consciously asked the Shui people to move into the residence of the Han people, and the immigrants distributed food to the farmland.

After several dynasties' development, the aquarium entered the feudal form. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the Shui people were invaded by the imperial army, and a large number of farmers who used to grow grain were tricked into growing opium, and agriculture was destroyed. However, the textile industry has also entered the foreign yarn processing handicraft industry because of the industrial blow.

After the Revolution of 1911, many mines appeared here, and the local people were seriously exploited by capital forces. In the chaotic decades, the population of the Shui nationality has decreased by one third.
