Shaanxi Weinan Technical School (formerly Weinan Lin Wei Technical School) is located in the middle section of Shengli Street, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. Founded in 1989, it is a full-time comprehensive technical school under the Bureau of Personnel, Labor and Social Security of Linwei District.

1998 was named as "Key Technical School" by Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. In 2000, it was recognized as a provincial-level "labor preparation training school" by the provincial labor and social security department; In 2004, it was identified as "Sunshine Project Training Base" by Linwei District People's Government and "Sanmenxia Reservoir Area Migrant Labor Export Training Base" by Weinan Immigration Development Bureau. From 2004 to 2008, it was awarded "Advanced Unit of Labor Export Training" by Weinan Municipal People's Government. At the same time, the school has also been identified as "OSTA Computer Information Technology Examination Station" by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and approved by the Provincial Department of Labor and Social Security to set up "Weinan Lin Wei Vocational Skills Appraisal Institute" to undertake vocational skills appraisal in the whole region.
