Australian international chamber of commerce previous summits

On August 3, 2009, KLOC-0, the Australian International Chamber of Commerce successfully held the China-Australia Friendship City Summit and the China-Australia SME Summit.

The summit was attended and strongly supported by the Chinese and Australian governments, people, associations and enterprises.

H.E. malcolm turnbull, leader of the opposition party in Australia, Richard Torby, Speaker of New South Wales, Barry O'Farrell, leader of the opposition party in New South Wales, and the mayor of Sydney sent congratulatory letters to the event, including China International Friendship Cities Federation, Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Jiangxi Provincial People's Government, Hunan Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Chongwen District People's Government of Beijing.

The "20 10 China-Australia (South Pacific) Friendship City Summit and Business Forum" was successfully held on June 30th, 20 10 in the Parliament Building of New South Wales, Australia. Roger Matthews, Chairman of New Zealand Friendship City Association, Tony Stewart, Parliamentary Secretary of New South Wales, Australia, Minister of Mineral Resources, Minister of Forestry, Minister of Port Water Affairs, Minister of Irawala, Minister of Shadow, Minister of Health, Minister of Indigenous Affairs of New South Wales, and Minister of Local Government of Victoria Liberal Party Ken Smith attended the summit and delivered speeches. Sam iskandar, mayor of Maric, Tony Mullen, mayor of Strathfield, Iztanmark, deputy mayor of Auburn, Gareth Ward, deputy mayor of Shoerhaven and other state and city representatives attended the event.

Nathan Backhouse, Director of International Affairs Department of Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Michael Jones, Representative of China Chamber of Commerce and Industry in New South Wales, are enterprises in various industries such as science and technology, construction, engineering, communication, agriculture, tourism, pharmacy, finance, import and export, bidding and legal consultation. Representatives of the two cities attending the Friendship City Summit jointly discussed the opportunities and cooperation brought by sister cities, and made clear the direction of future efforts. At the same time, the summit also built a platform for exchanges, cooperation, development, business opportunities and friendship between China and South Pacific enterprises, and achieved many positive and beneficial results. Representatives from China government, associations, enterprises, media and schools had friendly exchanges with representatives from related fields in South Pacific and discussed future cooperation opportunities. With the active coordination and efforts of our Chamber of Commerce, Geraldton-Greenough, South Australia, Australia has established a sister city relationship with Yueqing, Zhejiang. Australia Kilani Highland High School and Yueqing Middle School formed a friendly cooperative school, and the Australian International Chamber of Commerce signed a cooperation agreement with Gansu Federation of Industry and Commerce. Under the coordination and arrangement of our Chamber of Commerce, exhibitors from China and South Pacific conducted business negotiations and project docking, which laid the foundation for further cooperation in the future.
