1. Deep love between master and servant

Su Moer in history was indeed a A rather legendary figure. The original name was Su Mo'er or Sumer, but in the late Shunzhi or Kangxi years it was renamed the Manchu name Sumala Gu, which means "half a big pocket". After she died of illness, everyone in the palace respectfully called her Sumala Gu. Aunt Sumala and Empress Xiaozhuang Wen lived together day and night, inseparable, and stayed together for more than 60 years. The relationship between the two actually exceeded the ordinary master-servant relationship.

2. A strategy for persuading surrender

In March of the seventh year of Chongde (1642), the Qing army captured Hong Chengchou, the governor of Jiliao in the Ming Dynasty. Huang Taiji ordered that Hong be taken to Shengjing and sent to Fan Wencheng, a minister of the Han Dynasty, and others took turns to persuade him, but Hong Chengchou remained unyielding. For this reason, Huang Taiji hesitated a lot and was unwilling to eat.

Seeing this situation, Xiaozhuang recommended himself and went to persuade him in person. He "put a pot on his lips" and poured ginseng juice into him one by one. He moved him with emotion and explained it with reason. After several Tian's efforts finally convinced Hong Chengchou to surrender to the Qing army. This event has been widely circulated, and many works have been performed in later generations. However, detailed records are not found in official history, and the authenticity is still controversial in academic circles.
