What about Serbian immigrants?

After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Yugoslavia was the worst country. In less than 20 years, the good and strong Yugoslavia split into seven countries, including Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo. Serbia, as the host country, has successively recognized Slovenia and other six countries and established diplomatic relations with them, but why is it still unwilling to let go of Kosovo and resolutely refuse to give up Kosovo? Kosovo is located in the interior of Balkan Peninsula, with an area of only 1 1,000 square kilometers and a population of 1 1,800,000. The whole volume is only the size of a prefecture-level city in China. During the Yugoslav period, Kosovo was an autonomous province of Yugoslavia, mainly inhabited by Albanians, who believed in the religion of * * *, and their status was not as important as other subjects.

However, since 199 1, other federal entities have established their own countries, and Serbia finally accepted and established diplomatic relations with them. However, after Kosovo became independent through the Kosovo War in 2008, Serbia refused to recognize it or establish diplomatic relations with it. It has been 10 years now, and Serbia still refuses to let go, even trying to keep Kosovo at all costs.

Many people don't understand that Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia are all richer and more important than Kosovo. Why Serbia is willing to give up, but why Serbia is determined not to let go in a small Kosovo? In fact, the reason is very simple, only four words, that is, "the land of ancestors."

In essence, although Kosovo has a small land and a large population, it is insignificant. However, the land of Kosovo is called the birthplace of Serbs, that is, the land of ancestors, which is equivalent to Henan in China, and its position is very important. Moreover, in ancient Kosovo, mainly Serbs, only Albanians who later believed in Christianity entered.

Because of the fertility of * * *, these people gradually changed the demographic structure of Kosovo after their arrival. Moreover, the economy became very backward, so it was gradually squeezed by Albanians, and the Serbs moved out of Kosovo. This ancestral land was completely changed.

Even so, Serbia is still a bitter country. Yugoslavia tried to recapture this land by immigrating Serbs, but it was finally repelled by * * * *. Pristina is now the capital of Kosovo and the old capital of Serbia. When Serbia saw this, it was a pain in its heart. So in any case, Serbia is too old to give up the land of its ancestors, or it will be a national sinner.
