The Canadian Government provides visa and immigration services in the following three offices in China. Before choosing the place where you want to submit your application, please read the following detailed description of the responsibilities of each office.

Canadian Embassy in Beijing

Accepted:

-All kinds of visa and immigration applications.

Scope of accepting applicants:

-People's Republic of China (PRC);

-Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Mongolia;

-Residents of other countries and regions who have been allowed to enter China legally and need visas to enter Canada.

Consulate General of Hong Kong and Canada

Accepted:

-All kinds of visa and immigration applications.

Scope of accepting applicants:

-People's Republic of China (PRC);

-Hong Kong and Macau.

In addition, if necessary, the applicant must be able to attend the interview in the Hong Kong office.

Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai

Accepted:

-Temporary resident visa;

-Work permit;

Application for permanent residents to return to Canada.

Scope of accepting applicants:

-Shanghai;

-Jiangsu, Anhui and Zhejiang provinces.
