First, individualism.

However, Americans attach great importance to cooperative spirit. In the workplace, everyone works hard for his work and will not be discriminated against because he is gay, single or alcoholic. This cooperative atmosphere is very pleasant.

Fourth, "money" and "spirit"

Americans don't like to be asked about income, mainly because in the United States, money is an important measure of a person's success, and the level of income naturally becomes a symbol of success. The rich don't want to show off, and neither do the poor. The relationship between American bosses and employees is largely based on money. Employees believe in "how much you pay, how much I contribute", and the boss believes in "how much you contribute, how much I pay". Everything is done in accordance with the contract signed by the employer and the employee in advance. If it is necessary to work overtime, employees can completely refuse. Once there are better opportunities and more generous treatment, job-hopping is also common.

But America is not a "money first" society. Most Americans believe in religion, mainly Christianity. For Americans, religion is not only a belief, but also a spirit, which permeates all aspects of American life. American values, attitudes towards life and moral standards are deeply influenced by religious thoughts. Such as equality and freedom, friendship and mutual assistance, sympathy for the weak, respect for others, self-respect, self-reliance, etc., all come from the value standards and philosophy of life advocated in religious beliefs.
