Document No.53 [2006] issued by Hubei Provincial Government stipulates that the original immigrants can enjoy direct cash subsidy 600 yuan/year, and the newly-added population (i.e. descendants of immigrants) can enjoy project support 500 yuan/year. Your situation belongs to the second category, and you can't enjoy direct cash subsidy. Some provinces do not provide project support, and all existing and growing immigrants give cash.
