Introduction to Yun County Economic Development Zone

Yunyang Economic Development Zone was originally Chatian Town. Yunyang Economic Development Zone is a provincial economic development zone approved by the Hubei Provincial Government in 2008. It is located on the south bank of the Han River in Yunyang District, Shiyan City, Hubei Province. The Han River, the central water source of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, surrounds the entire region, and the Han River Bridge runs through the north and south, resembling two cities shoulder-to-shoulder. The development zone has unique geographical advantages. It is close to Henan and Shaanxi provinces and is an important hub connecting the central and western regions. The whole district (town) spans 110°46′-110°53′ in the east, 32°41′-32°48′ in the north, 15 kilometers long from north to south, and about 6 kilometers wide from east to west, with a territory of 90.47 square kilometers.
